Move-outs and cleanouts the city won't take

Moving out, or finally clearing the spare room? Regular trash pickup isn't built for it. Tell us the floor, the stairs and how far it is to parking, and we'll carry it out from there.

Hendersonville: city trash pickup doesn't include move-outs or cleanout items at the curb.
Hendersonville curbside: up to two bulk items a week.
Nashville: anything left outside the cart won't be picked up.
Nashville apartment complexes: Metro says call your property manager or a private hauler.
Gallatin: bulk pickup is monthly, and only for city trash customers.
Gallatin: sign-up closes at 3:30 p.m. the Wednesday before pickup.

Household junk removal questions.

Do I have to bring everything to the garage or curb first?

No. We pick up from wherever it is: upstairs, the basement, a closet, the spare room or the backyard. We carry it out and load the trailer ourselves, so you don't lift a thing. If it's already outside, tell us when you text.

Can you clear a whole room or a move-out?

Yes. One room, a move-out or a whole house. Text photos of each room to (629) 291-1231, tell us about the stairs and how far it is to parking, and we'll text back a price. Bigger jobs can run over more than one day, like our two-day garage cleanout in Murfreesboro.

Do I need to sort it first?

No. Leave it the way it is. Packed boxes, loose clutter and half-full bags all go in the same trailer. Just make sure everything that's going is in the photos you text, so we can price the whole job in one go.

Is there a minimum charge?

No. One item is fine, and so is a garage full of boxes. A single lamp or a whole spare room gets the same two people and the same trailer. Text a photo to (629) 291-1231 and we'll text back a price.

How do I get a price?

Text a few photos to (629) 291-1231, or use the free quote form and upload up to five. Tell us what's going, where it is and whether there are stairs. We respond within the hour, day or night, and there's no minimum charge.

Won't the city take it?

Sometimes, with limits. Nashville won't pick up anything left outside the cart, Hendersonville's trash service doesn't cover move-outs or cleanouts, and Gallatin's bulk pickup runs monthly for city trash customers only. If your pile doesn't fit those rules, text us a photo.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we're licensed and insured. And it's always Josh and Gabby on the job, never a subcontractor. We packed up Los Angeles, moved to Nashville and started JG Junk Removal, and the two of us do every job ourselves.
