Hermitage, Old Hickory & Donelson.
Next door: Hermitage is 12 to 20 minutes from our base in Mount Juliet.
Three neighborhoods, one short drive.
Hermitage starts just west of Mount Juliet along Lebanon Pike, Central Pike and I-40, and takes its name from Andrew Jackson's Hermitage. The Stones River and Clover Bottom split it from Donelson, which sits beside the airport.
Old Hickory fills Hadley Bend, with the Cumberland River on the north and west and Old Hickory Lake to the east. Old Hickory Boulevard runs straight through the old DuPont company town.

What Metro won't haul out here
Text us a photo of the pile. We do the loading.
- Tree-service brush: Metro says the company that cut it must get rid of it.
- Metro drop-offs turn away vehicles with business advertising or commercial tags.
- Omohundro, Donelson's closest center, is the only one taking DIY construction debris.
- Bigger construction loads go to private sites, like Triune Residuals on Central Pike.
- Part of ZIP 37138 is in Wilson County, whose centers need a Wilson tag.

Hermitage questions.
Do you cover Old Hickory and Donelson too?
Yes. On a weekday morning, Hermitage is 12 to 20 minutes from our base in Mount Juliet, Donelson is 14 to 26 by I-40, and Old Hickory is 18 to 28. That's close enough for same-day pickup when the schedule allows. Call or text and we respond within the hour, day or night.
Can I take remodel debris to a Metro center?
Only small do-it-yourself loads, and only to Omohundro, the center closest to Donelson. Metro's fee table caps it at 2 cubic yards. Bigger loads go to private sites such as Triune Residuals on Central Pike. Or text us a photo and we'll load it and haul it off.
My truck has a business logo. Can I use a Metro drop-off?
No. Metro's convenience centers don't accept waste in commercial vehicles, and that includes any vehicle with business advertising or commercial tags. If your work truck is the only way to haul it, text us a photo instead. We bring our own dump trailer and do the loading.
