Why not rent a truck and do it yourself?

You can. The public drop-offs just make it hard to empty a whole unit in one go, and you still have to load and unload every piece yourself. When you text us, say which facility, the unit size, and whether it's drive-up or inside.

Wilson County centers: no box trucks, U-Hauls or enclosed trailers.
Wilson County centers: one visit a day, with a Wilson County vehicle tag.
Metro Nashville centers: no trailers longer than 12 feet.
Metro's Anderson Lane center in Madison takes no cargo vans or trailers.
At Metro Nashville centers, residents unload everything themselves.

Storage units questions.

How do you price a storage unit cleanout?

By what's in it, not the size of the unit. A big unit that's half empty is priced on the half that's full. Roll the door up, take a photo from the entrance and text it to (629) 291-1231. We text back a price.

My move-out date is close. Can you come soon?

Often, yes. We respond within the hour, day or night, and same-day pickup happens when the schedule allows. If the date really can't move, ask about our 24-hour emergency pickup. Text the facility, the town and your deadline.

Do I need to sort it first?

No. Stack the keepers in one corner, or move them to your car before we start, and tell us which pile is staying. Everything else goes in our dump trailer. If you're not sure about a box, set it aside and decide while we load.

Can you take mattresses and appliances from the unit?

Yes. Mattresses, box springs, bed frames and appliances are all on our list, along with couches, dressers and boxes. Put them in the photo you text so the price covers everything, including the heavy pieces at the back of the unit.

Is there a minimum?

No minimum charge. If you're keeping most of the unit and just want the heavy pieces gone, like an old couch, a mattress or a broken treadmill, that counts. Text a photo of just those pieces and we'll price exactly that.

Who shows up at the facility?

Josh and Gabby, the two owners, do every job themselves. We haul with our own dump trailer, so there's no subcontractor and no rental truck involved. J&G Junk Removal LLC is licensed and insured, and you deal with the same two people from the first text to the last load.

Where do you work?

We're based in Mount Juliet and work about an hour in every direction, so units in Nashville, Madison, Antioch, Hermitage, Lebanon and Murfreesboro are all in range. Text the facility's name and town along with your photo.
